Time to Fly, For our Future

Hi guys~! How your holiday? :)

It is unbelievable that time flies so fast

and it is the beginning of September

Everyone "should" have prepared to go to UK,

squeezing those clothes, jackets and something you really like ( maybe childhood memory stuff) in to the small luggage, scared of over weight hahax~! =_______________=

Year 2 is proceeding to Year 3;

Year 1 is proceeding to Year 2;

New students coming and form our New Year 1 fellow Junior,

REPEAT.

This is a process that keep repeating every year, in Pharmnotts.

What we can say is that we maybe pleased that everyone is enjoying their university life.

There is a Quote Saying:

Don't be dismayed at good-byes. A farewell is necessary before we can meet again and meeting again, after moments or a lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.

007 James Bond Night - Prom Night 2012/13

20^th April 2013 (Saturday) in Vivatel

What a night! All agents wore prettily that night and some even brought gun toys to match with the theme - James Bond Night. It was pretty awesome when you see your classmates and even the juniors left the nerd look behind, for guys, they wore tuxedo and for girls, they wore evening dress / gown. I think this is not my first time saying that, PHARMACY STUDENTS ARE NOT NERDS! After enjoying juniors’ performances, we thought that they have talents as well! Next academic year’s Viva La Vida Night shouldn’t be a problem!

Of course, there were some touching moments as well. As most of the seniors are leaving to UK, the juniors prepared recorded videos with messages from each of our lecturer. A big round applause to Dr.Morris who actually acted as an agent in the video and was "attacked" in his office room at the end of the video. I never thought he would do that for the prom. It was beyond our expectation. x)

For those who missed the prom night, don’t worry as there are videos recorded, as well as some photos taken. Do enjoy with these videos and photos as these mean a thousand words. X)

I would personally want to say thanks to all the junior committees who prepared this prom night for the seniors who are leaving to UK, and of course to the Bsc seniors as well. However, I do hope that all of the juniors enjoyed that night as well. Well, I heard some of you even put your assignments or coursework aside just for this prom night. (>.<) Really appreciate that. I believed all the seniors had so much fun! Thanks for giving so much sweet memories to us.. =)

( yeah!!u are right!! today isn't April FOOL !!! ),

We proudly present you the PROM NIGHT~

To my brilliant and excellent coursemates,

A message from the HEADQUARTERS…

  “We found someone is disguising himself as Agent 007 and sold our top secret files to other agencies. The impostor was last seen in the Student Association building. We have received a message stating the impostor will disguise himself in the crowd to steal the Prom King and Queen's crowns at the secret event."

YOU have been to be SELECTED for this special assignment. Should you choose to participate in 007 James Bond Night, you will be treated with many surprises including an exciting top secret event. Please consider this mission as your priority and to be kept confidential. Do not share this information with others as the impostor might just be next to you...

In order to be in this mission, you need to fork out RM90(year 1) and RM40(senior) for the entrance passes to be entitled to this secret event. This event would be held in Vivatel (around 1 hour driving distance) on 20^th April 2013 from 6.30 pm to 11.00 pm. There will be cocktail serve at the foyer at 6.30 pm.

You can purchase the entrance passes from Agent 005 (Tan Mun Cheng, Year 1 MPharm) starting now.

There will be a reward for the capture of the criminal, DEAD or ALIVE…

Cancer Awareness Health Week

Do you know that one in eight deaths in the world are due to cancer???? 

Do you know that cancer actually causes more deaths than AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria combined??? 

Yet, researchers believe that more than half of all cancers and cancer deaths are potentially preventable. 

That’s why,

 this week (4/3/13~8/3/13), PharmNotts are presenting the 

Cancer Awareness Health Week  

to you and your friends, to bring awareness about the cancer and what you could do to prevent getting this “frightening” disease.

A few talks brought to you :

1)Talk   : General Cancer Awareness from NCSM

There would be a Blood Donation Drives. Remember, a pack of blood, would make a lot of differences.

I attempted to donate blood during Blood Donation Drive last 2 years, but due to some reason I couldn't donate. But this never stop me from attempting to donate again! oh I am definitely going to donate my precious blood on Tuesday to save life! Who's with me?!
